Genevieve Fischer is a Master’s Student in the Environmental Science and Policy Program. She received her BA in Environmental Studies and International Affairs from Northeastern University in 2021. During her undergraduate degree she completed two co-ops with MIT-Solve and Greentown Labs. In both of those positions she supported climate entrepreneurs working on a vast array of environmental issues through both operational organization and extensive research projects. Her academic interests have mainly focused on sustainable agriculture policies and technologies. Her undergraduate thesis combined her passions for both science and policy by analyzing how hydroponics could help to alleviate food insecurity within the city of Boston.
