Zoe Jee is a Master’s Student in the Environmental Science and Policy Program. She received her BA in Environmental Studies and International Affairs from Northeastern University. During her first co-op with the Australian Microplastic Assessment Project she assisted with research on microplastic pollution throughout the coast of Australia. In her second co-op at Homeworks Energy, she worked as the Training and Development Assistant for this energy efficiency company. Throughout these experiences she utilized her knowledge of science and policy to disseminate information through training, development, and education to a wider audience. Zoe’s undergraduate thesis researched marine microplastics, focusing on the scientific and international political implications of each. Her academic interests have mainly surrounded sustainability, pollution, and coastal resilience.
