The focus of current research centers on investigations of protein backbone dynamics using hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry (HX MS) while also advancing the applications for technology through method development and optimization. The biological systems of interest include the classical membrane associated tyrosine kinases, HIV-1 accessory proteins, both pro- and anti-apoptotic proteins, as well as scaffold and receptor proteins.
