Milen Yakimov

Milen Yakimov received his undergraduate degree in mathematics from Sofia University, Bulgaria, in 1996 and his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2001. His research interests lie in noncommutative algebra, representation theory, and cluster algebras, and their relations to triangulated categories, Poisson geometry, and integrable systems.

A Sloan Research Fellow (2005) and Fellow of the American Mathematical Society (2018), Yakimov has had his research continuously funded by the National Science Foundation since 2004.
