About Maya Barton-Zuckerman
I graduated summa cum laude with a B.S in Neuroscience and Psychology from Brandeis University, where my research focused primarily on relations between executive function and stress reactivity. For my post-baccalaureate training, I worked as a research technician in Vitaly Napadow’s lab on several projects involving neuroimaging, peripheral physiology, and alternative treatments for chronic pain.
As a PhD student advised by Drs. Karen S. Quigley and Lisa Feldman Barrett, I am broadly interested in interoception and variation in interoceptive processing in the construction of affective experiences.
