Josh Spoonhour is a Master’s Student in the Environmental Science and Policy Program. He received his BS in Biology from Gordon College in Wenham, MA. He comes to Northeastern with experience in the environmental consulting field, working with state and local governments and large private organizations on habitat restoration projects. For the last few years, Josh has also worked in law enforcement, where he investigates a wide range of criminal violations. Josh’s professional career has cultivated a strong desire to create fair policies and effective enforcement options to ensure the protection of human and environmental health. Here at Northeastern, Josh is interested in learning to create policies and enforcement solutions that encourage growth and expansion while also protecting human health and the environment.
