I am a Mexican Psychology Scholar with a Cognitive Neuroscience approach to the study of perception, cognition and action. In particular, I am interested in the ways these conceptual categories interact with one another in the service of behavior and the possibility of a systematic change over time (learning). My work includes behavioral, electro-physiological, and computational methodologies focused on gathering and analyzing empirical datasets, theoretical formation of discourse in interactive media and the cognitive sciences, assessment of perceptual function in underserved populations, training of perceptual and cognitive function, and teaching Psychology students about topics in the Cognitive Neurosciences.
