Angela Nam is a Master’s Student in the Environmental Science and Policy program at Northeastern University. She received her BS in Environmental Science with a minor in Marine Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Angela has experience working in various labs, including marine microbiology, coral physiology and fluid dynamics of sea fans. Her interests shifted from the hard sciences to social-ecological systems, as she hopes to focus on ecosystem or natural resource management by working with nonprofits to improve resilience towards climate change, while advocating for environmental justice.
