About Alessandra Di Credico
After spending many years looking for Cosmic Rays, Neutrinos, and Gravitational Waves from cosmic sources, I have joined Northeastern University in 2006 to teach Introductory Physics, Energy, and Astrophysics-related courses. Since then I have been involved in Active Learning teaching, Inclusive teaching and have started my own research on Problems Solving in Introductory Physics. Through CATLR, I have joined an engaged community of scholars and started a new focus group in my department to study evidence-based teaching strategies and methods. My interests are varied but focus on improving the learning experience of all my students, no matter their background, race, gender, and/or disability.
