I am a second-year PhD student working with Dr. Jonathan Peelle. I graduated from Boston College manga cum laude with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Management and Leadership in 2022. My undergraduate honors thesis was on the role of the BLA and oxytocin in female social preference behavior. After graduating, I worked for a year at Joslin Diabetes Center on a study looking at the consequences and comorbidities of diabetes and Alzheimer’s Disease. I am currently looking at how fitness and physical activity affect one’s ability to understand speech in noise as well as other cognitive abilities.
