Sophia Troeh is an interdisciplinary scientist interested in the intersection of science, culture, and outreach, driven to protect our oceans and all that rely on them for generations to come. Her diverse range of experience includes work with Gonzaga University, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve, Oregon Sea Grant, California Conservation Corps Watershed Stewards Program in partnership with AmeriCorps, and Biscayne National Park. Through the Three Seas Program, Sophia looks forward to developing her field skills and learning more about marine science research on a global scale. She hopes to pursue a career in translating research to communities most heavily impacted by drastic global change with the overall goal of creating a climate-resilient future.
