About Steve Savitsky

Steve advises Math & Physics majors in their co-op search. He teaches the EESC 2000 Professional Development for Co-op Course, which empowers students in their search whether that is creating a resume for the first time or utilizing LinkedIn to pursue informational interviews in industries of interest. For Math majors, Steve co-teaches the Math 3000 course, which gives students an opportunity to build a long-term career outlook through the Start-Up Plan project.

Steve also has a focus on co-op job development for COS students, cultivating relationships with local and national employers through site visits throughout the year.

As a proud Husky alum, Steve is invested in making the campus a more inclusive space. He currently serves on the Reach OUT LGBTQA Career Conference planning committee. Steve has further advanced career development for LGBTQA-identifying students on a national level, most recently as a speaker for the 2020 Career Services Thought Leaders Symposium.

Steve is also involved in the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE), holding various leadership and committee level positions over the past 4 years. Steve currently serves on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and is Co-Chair for the Keynote Speaker/Employer Taskforce Committee for the 2020 Annual Conference in Baltimore.
