About Robert Carter
I hold a doctorate in Biomedical Sciences, three Master’s Degrees in microbiology, public health and international affairs/ strategic studies, which has equipped me with a strong foundation in emerging bio-technologies, public health, bioterrorism, and critical security infrastructure. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in various roles within Academia, the U.S. Defense Department Medical Research, Development, and Acqusition (RDA) Enterprise and NGOs. This includes hands-on experience with various Science & Technology projects, giving me a comprehensive understanding of the emerging biotechnology, disease and chemical and biological warfare threats.
I completed a postdoc training as a Yerby Research Fellow in Epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health as well as workshops and certifications in strategic communication, team management, and strategic decision-making during crisis scenarios.
