Tyler Jensen, Biochemistry, Winner 2017 AAAS Poster Competition

Congratulations, to Tyler Jensen for winning the 2017 AAAS Student Poster Competition. His entry won the poster in the Cellular and Molecular Biology category. His poster’s title is, “Epidermal Growth Factor Signaling in the Regenerating Axolotl Lung.” In his abstract, Tyler wrote that lung injury, through both disease and trauma, affects many people worldwide. His poster explains the work he and his labmates have done in researching how to help patients.

Tyler will be recognized in the March 24, 2017 issue of Science magazine.  He will also be awarded with a cash prize, a certificate, and one year AAAS membership.
