Professor Hall receives 2017 Career Contribution Award

Congratulations to University Distinguished Professor Judith Hall in receiving the 2017 Career Contribution Award from the Society for Personality and Social Psychology. This award honors those who have bridged together contributions of social and personality psychology. Over her very successful career, Hall’s research has taken her down many paths. She has studied everything from the role of nonverbal behavior on social perception and interactions, to the relationships between gender differences and nonverbal communication. Her discoveries have been applied to the health care field in medical visits between physicians and their patients. In true reflection of this award, her work has brought together many aspects of social, personality, and health psychology, with important discoveries in each field. The College of Science is proud to share the news of this award in honor of the many years of exciting research from Professor Hall and her lab.
