Congratuations to Dr. Tarek Ibrahim who was Awarded the Doctor of Science Degree (D.Sc.) by the University of Alexandria

Tarek Ibrahim who received his PhD in particle theory  at NU in 1998 was awarded the Doctor of Science degree (DSc) by the University of Alexandria on the recommendation of three Fellows of the Royal Society: Prof. Peter Dornan and Prof. David Wark from Imperial College, London and Prof. Robin Marshall from Manchester University. He is also recipient this year of the Misr El Kheir Foundation Award of 100, 000 Egyptian pounds (around 20,000 USD) as one of the two most cited persons in all branches of Science in Egypt. The awards are based on his work on violations of CP or time reversal invariance in supergravity and string theories done in collaboration with Pran Nath, Matthews University Distinguished Professor of Physics at Northeastern University.
