Notecards BAW 2017-FINAL

Brain Awareness Week at Northeastern

‘Peer inside’ the brain during Northeastern’s Brain Awareness Week

Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is a worldwide campaign to increase public awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research. During this week, scientists and non-scientists at Northeastern will gather together in a variety of outreach and interactive activities and lectures to share the importance of promoting a brain-healthy lifestyle and increased funding for brain research.  More than ever, in the face of a proposed budget with extreme slashing of programs and funding for scientific research, BAW highlights the strives that have already been made and the questions that still need to be answered in brain research and its importance in our lives.
