The College of Science at Northeastern University is delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Patricia A. Mabrouk as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

Professor Mabrouk is a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, with a research interest in Bioinorganic, Biophysical, Green, and Materials Chemistry.  Mabrouk is an innovative educator, and her research has included the use of web-based tools in education, especially for undergraduate research.

In her role within the new College of Science, Professor Mabrouk will be responsible for undergraduate and graduate education. She will be seeking innovative approaches in the curriculum and strategic connections with research, so as to provide outstanding undergraduate research opportunities.
