Disrupting Academic Bullying: Bullying and Incivility in the Academic Workplace

Dr. David Yamada leads a virtual discussion addressing bullying and incivility in the academic workplace.

David Yamada is a Professor of Law and Director of the New Workplace Institute at Suffolk University Law School in Boston. A globally recognized authority on workplace bullying, mobbing, and abuse, he has authored leading law review articles on the topic, as well as model anti-bullying legislation known as the Healthy Workplace Bill. His Minding the Workplace blog is a popular source of commentary on work, workers, and workplaces. His insights about workplace bullying and other employment topics have been frequently sought out by national and local media, including the New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal, WBUR, Variety, and Bloomberg Businessweek. The American Bar Association membership magazine recently featured Professor Yamada in its “Members Who Inspire” feature.
