Marine and environmental sciences professor Brian Helmuth is helping to head up the Urban Coastal Sustainability Initiative. Together with other MES faculty members, as well as faculty from the College of Engineering and College of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the School of Law, the team is marshaling the resources to address the critical need for sustainable urban coastal environments.
