Associate Professor and Coordinator of Cooperative Education Veronica “Ronnie” Porter was recently elected President of Cooperative Education & Internship Association (CEIA).

CEIA provides professional development and resources to the field of cooperative education. The organization was founded in 1963 and is a not-for-profit 501C(3). It holds an annual national conference and offers support for ongoing research and publications.

Porter previously served as CEIA’s Vice President, Region 1 Northeast.

Porter has worked at Northeastern University since 1980 and is a triple Husky. She currently advises Biology students.
