During the summer of 2016, the Bridge to Calculus program at Northeastern University will work with a group of BPS high school students, who will be seniors in September 2016, to prepare them to take the Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus course or a regular Calculus or Pre-calculus course during their senior year. The summer program is free of charge but interested students must apply. In addition your parent/guardian must sign a release form (link below) in order to be accepted into the program.

Bridge to Calculus is a special partnership of the Boston Public Schools and Northeastern University, and it seeks highly motivated students. Bridge to Calculus is also a highly supportive course of study with daily assignments. The instructors are talented teachers from the Boston Public Schools and Northeastern University. College students will serve as mentors to the high school students. Students who complete the Bridge to Calculus summer program and enroll in the AP Calculus course at their high school will take the AP Calculus exam in 2017. Bridge to Calculus is supported by Massachusetts Insight Education, Mathematical Association of America, the Boston Public Schools and Northeastern University.
