The Department of Mathematics at the University of Pannonia in Veszprem, Hungary has organized an International Conference on Geometry and Symmetry to celebrate the 60th birthdays of Professors Egon Schulte and Karoly Bezdek (University of Calgary). The theme of the conference (29 June – 3 July 2015) was “Geometry and Symmetry”, with emphasis on recent progress in aspects of discrete geometry to which Egon and Karoly have made remarkable contributions.
