COS Student Diversity Advisory Council
COSSDAC aims to provide support for underrepresented students in the sciences. It helps members academically, professionally, and provides postgraduate resources and a sense of community. They bring the resources that exist directly to members, such as mentorship programs and inviting different offices to meetings to speak about opportunities and resources. COSSDAC believes in giving back to the community by having science enrichment programs to get high school students into science and learn about the disparities that exist in our communities. Northeastern University Pre-Vet Club Nu Rho Psi National Honor Society
Nu Rho Psi is a branch of the National Honor Society in Neuroscience. Membership into this honor society is for life and is often a springboard for networking and the collaboration of like- minded colleagues interested in the study of the brain. We encourage intellectual and social interaction between students, faculty, and professionals in neuroscience and related fields; increase public awareness of neuroscience and its benefits for the individual and society; and encourage service to the community through various outreach projects.
Minority Association of Pre-Health Students Neurons Club
The Northeastern Undergraduate Researchers of Neuroscience (NEURONS) is the official student group for Behavioral Neuroscience majors. During biweekly meetings, students and faculty members are able to discuss in an informal setting new research from leading academic journals, topics that aren’t typically covered in classes, and life as a neuroscientist.
