We pursue this through fundraising for disaster relief and specific initiatives, volunteering in the Boston community, organizing blood drives, providing opportunities for CPR and first-aid trainings, and more. Northeastern University Global Health Initiative (NUGHI) is an on-campus club dedicated to spreading awareness about the importance of global health to the undergraduate community and beyond. In 2018, NUGHI spearheaded the first student-led global health conference on Northeastern’s campus. To date, NUGHI has held two undergraduate run global health conferences featuring world-renowned health experts, educational workshops, and poster sessions. The annual conferences allow students to establish new connections and effectively communicate with healthcare researchers and professionals.
