About Sarah Barnes
I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2014 with a BS in Biological Sciences and specialization in Immunology. I received my PhD in Immunology from Stanford University in 2021. I am now working in Dean Hazel Sive’s lab as a postdoctoral research associate and lecturer. I currently study the role of metabolic dysregulation in neurodevelopmental disorders. My long-term research interests are in the role of neuroinflammation in neurological and psychiatric disorders.
