About Lauren Granata
Area: Behavioral Neuroscience
Advisor: Heather Brenhouse
I am a first-year graduate student in Dr. Heather Brenhouse’s lab. As an undergraduate, I explored the role of the prefrontal cortex at different stages of the memory process in rodents using chemogenetic methods to silence brain regions.
I am currently interested in studying the environmental factors that influence development and their behavioral outcomes, particularly, the effects of rodent ultrasonic vocalizations on neurological pathways and behavior.
