Northeastern’s Master of Science in Bioinformatics/1-Year Experiential is a work-aligned, intensive, experience-based, and in-demand degree for students hoping to play a pivotal role in the life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries. The accelerated program provides experiential opportunities sponsored by leading companies to help you refine real-world skills and provide career connections for post-graduation employment. The program is best suited to students able to devote a year to full-time learning.

The degree builds on four pillars (core curriculum, experiential learning, student services, talent acquisition) to create an evidence-based and work-based learning experience. We also offer a MS in Bioinformatics program that can be part-time, either in Boston or online for a duration of 2-3 years for students that need more flexibility and would like to spread out the coursework.
