On Thursday, April 14, the Northeastern community will come together for our fifth annual Giving Day. Now, more than ever, science is crucially important. On Giving Day, we will fundraise to further the education of future scientific leaders, to expand the impact of our research endeavors, and to foster an environment in which every member of the College of Science community can learn, grow and thrive.
The College of Science has 12 funds to consider giving to:
COS Dean’s Fund
Math Department Fund
Physics Department Fund
Biology Department Fund
Chemistry Department Fund
Behavioral Neuroscience Program Fund
Biochemistry Program Fund
Marine and Environmental Sciences
Psychology Department Fund
College of Science Research Co-op Fund
College of Science Student Diversity Advisory Council – Club
Advancing Women in Science Scholarship
The College of Science’s programs in physical sciences, life sciences, and mathematics provide students with a deep understanding of emerging research and technology, encompassing such disciplines as nanoscience, chemical biology, cognition and neuroscience, and environmental and marine science. When you support the college, you’re providing an experiential education developing scientific leaders and their research.
Timed challenges will occur throughout the day to inspire giving to a variety of different causes. And thanks to generous members of the Northeastern community, Giving Day will award gifts to the challenge-winning schools and colleges, teams, and programs.
