Department

Melinda Fowler is an associate teaching professor in the Department of Biology and the director of academic programs for the College of Science at the Oakland campus. As a teaching professor Melinda Fowler is excited to support students on their discovery of the wonder of biology. She teaches introductory biology and anatomy and physiology on the Oakland campus. Her prior research career was focused on marine mammal and bird physiological ecology in the Bay Area and she hopes to incorporate that expertise into course offerings at the Oakland campus.
