About Madelyn Rubenstein

Madelyn is a fellow graduate of the Biotechnology Program, and is eager to help current students succeed and help them find their own path in the industry. She is passionate about eliminating barriers for young professionals during their co-op/job hunting process, and providing them with as many career options as possible to help make an educated decision about their path forward. She has stayed involved with the Biotech program over the years by both mentoring former and current students in their co-op search. Her current primary interests are in project management, process improvements at both a project and program level, and data visualization.

Previously, Madelyn graduated with a B.S. from the University of Rochester in Biological Sciences, concentrating on Neuroscience. She has worked at Boston Children’s Hospital as a Research Assistant in the Division of Newborn Medicine before joining the Biotechnology Program. She has held prior positions at Alnylam in their Clinical Operations group, and at Sage Therapeutics in Research Operations. She currently works at Foundation Medicine as a project manager, where she helps project teams execute clinical and analytical studies with external pharmaceutical partners in order to achieve sPMA approval from the FDA on CDx indications
