Becky Hirsch graduated from Northeastern University in 2018 with a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. After graduating, she worked as a research associate in the Hematology Group at CRISPR Therapeutics. She then earned a PhD in Cell Biology and Physiology at the UNC School of Medicine, where she studied the molecular pathology of endometrial cancer. After a year of teaching introductory biology at Durham Technical Community College and serving as a Research Coach for students at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, she returned to Northeastern to teach in the Cell and Gene Therapies Master's degree program. She is passionate about mentoring and supporting student success.
