Amy Nagel is an assistant undergraduate co-op faculty coordinator for biochemistry and biology students. She graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University. Amy has ten years of experience teaching middle school and elementary school students and is a Teach for America alum. She developed and supported employer partnerships and volunteer programs for the Newton Public School system and the nonprofit Citizen Schools. Amy began her career as a journalist working on the business and city desks in a co-op position at The Boston Globe.
Amy also worked as reporter and editor for the international newspaper, The Christian Science Monitor, and served as a communications specialist for the U.S. Department of Transportation for various Federal agencies.
