About Amy Nagel

Amy Nagel is an assistant co-op coordinator at the College of Science. She connects Northeastern University undergraduate students studying biology, biochemistry, and molecular and cell biology in the College of Science to exciting, engaging experiential learning opportunities (co-ops) that help them apply the content and skills they develop in the classroom in the workplace.

Amy previously taught elementary and middle school and is a former journalist who covered topics including business, music, environmental and marine science, and technology. She completed a co-op at the Boston Globe while she was an undergraduate student at Emerson College. She loves sharing her experiences and best practices with her students around networking and mentoring as they explore their career path and interests.

Amy holds a B.S. in Journalism from Emerson college and a Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University.
