We strive to share the innovative research and unique environments of the Marine Science Center directly with students and communities by welcoming visitors from around the world for special events and programs and sharing online STEM resources and research news.

    Boston Harbor Ecosystem Network

    The Boston Harbor Ecosystem Network brings together individuals and organizations dedicated to protecting, restoring, and promoting public education about estuarine resources in the Metro Boston region of the MassBays National Estuary Partnership.

    Coastal Ocean Science Academy

    The Coastal Ocean Science Academy is a marine science summer day program that aims to introduce and connect young people to local marine and coastal habitats and the factors that shape them.

    Field Trips

    This two to three hour student experience introduces students to both marine life and how scientists conduct field study in this pristine coastal setting.

    Join hundreds of high schoolers and their teachers to explore marine science in interactive talks and workshops led by experts and scientists in the field.

    MSC in your classroom

    Our MSC Outreach Program staff are available to deliver in-class programs in Nahant, Lynn, Revere, Swampscott, and Marblehead.

    School Partnerships

    In collaboration with other organizations, the MSC works with the Johnson Elementary School and Lynn Public Schools to implement marine activities at every grade level.
