Matthias Schlichting earned the PhD in Neurobiology and Genetics from the University of Würzburg. He teaches Biology Project Lab, emphasizing hands-on experiential learning for students, as well as the large enrollment course Genetics and Molecular Biology. Dr. Schlichting developed the innovative Biological Clocks course, incorporating active learning methodologies to engage students in understanding circadian rhythms and temporal biological processes.
