Marco Colangelo

Marco Colangelo is an assisant professor the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and a affiliate faculty member of the Department of Physics. His main research interests include superconducting devices for single-photon detection, microwave engineering, hybrid integration, quantum nanostructures and nanofabrication technology. He leads the Nano Structures Laboratory, where they are work on technologies leveraging applied superconductivity, photonics and quantum physics for applications in sensing and computing

He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2023.
