Kerri Walter completed her PhD at Northeastern University advised by Dr. Peter Bex in the Translational Vision Lab . She obtained a Bachelors of Science with Honors in neuroscience from the University of Delaware, and as such is interested in brain-related vision deficits. She is currently studying the high-level visual deficits associated with early neurological injury for those with Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI). Specifically, she is measuring visual search strategies by utilizing semantic and image salience-based models and analyzing face perception abilities in those with CVI.
