Kai Yi Han is a PhD student in the MIND Lab with Dr. Psyche Loui in the Center for Cognitive and Brain Health. She is broadly interested in both the theoretical and practical applications of music psychology and cognition, such as the development of musical abilities and how they inform music-based interventions. Currently, Han is interested in dance (movement to music), including its developmental trajectory across cultures, its underlying mechanisms of auditory-motor coupling, and how it relates to reward.
