Claire Magnani

  • Assistant Professor

Dr. Claire Magnani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Northeastern University. Her research group investigates small molecules, bifunctional compounds, and chemical probes that enable the study of RNA-protein interactions.

Prior to joining Northeastern, Dr. Magnani was a Jane Coffin Childs Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Stuart Schreiber at the Broad Institute, where she investigated DNA-encoded library technologies for de novo molecular glue discovery. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, where she conducted research on the total synthesis of natural products under the guidance of Prof. Thomas Maimone. She received her B.A. in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard University.
