Bryanne McDonough’s main research interests lie in computational astrophysics and what can be learned from comparing the results of cosmological simulations to observations. She is interested in galaxy evolution, particularly how star formation can be influenced by feedback and external factors.
McDonough completed the PhD in Astronomy at Boston University (Aug. 2024) and earned her bachelor’s degree in Physics from Rochester Institute of Technology (2018). She is currently a Future Faculty Postdoctoral Fellow at Northeastern University, working with Dr. Jacqueline McCleary.
