Ayce Yesilaltay received the PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from UMass Chan Medical School. She has taught lecture, lab, and discussion-based courses, including Biology, Integrated Anatomy and Physiology I/II, Inquiries in Biological Sciences, and Research Exploration in Biology. Dr. Yesilaltay uses case studies, experiential- and active-learning methods in her teaching. She completed the Teaching Inquiry Fellows program and continues her commitment to biology education research—presenting at educational conferences and attending CATLR meetings.
