Abdelahad Khajo

Professor Khajo received his B.S., M.A., and Ph.D. in Chemistry from The City University of New York. His research interests are centered on free-radicals, reactive oxygen species, biological molecules, and the chemical mechanisms underlying oxidative processes. His work has resulted in publications in several journals in chemistry and biochemistry. Professor Khajo brings an extensive teaching experience in general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry, having taught at several leading colleges and universities in the New York City area. He currently serves as an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology within the College of Science at Northeastern University’s New York City campus, where he continues to focus on high-quality undergraduate chemistry education and student success.
