HIV-1 Fusion on Native Membranes Captured by Cryo-Electron Tomography 

This project will investigate the role of glycoproteins on the structure of the HIV envelope protein. This will include simulations of the glycoproteins in isolation, in the presence of membranes and in the presence of inhibitors/antibodies. This work will help us better understand how HIV drives membrane fusion.
