Precision cancer microsurgery using laser ablation-cooling with pulse bursts

Glioblastoma recurs in most patients because small tumor deposits remain at the surgical margins, even after fluorescence-guided surgery. This project builds a precision laser microsurgery platform that uses ablation-cooling to clear those deposits safely near critical brain tissue, validated in cell co-cultures, a rat model, and patient biopsies.
