Budil Lab

Professor Budil’s group is interested in the physical behavior of macromolecules, including both synthetic polymers and biopolymers such as large proteins. Their principal investigative tool is electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy, including very high-frequency ESR.

    David Budil’s group develops magnetic resonance methods to study biopolymer dynamics, transport in membranes and drug delivery systems, and quantum materials in the new EQUAL lab at Burlington. Dr. Budil teaches several advanced physical chemistry courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
