Professor Kar is an experimental condensed matter physicist interested in the science and applications of 2D Quantum Materials. He is the Director of Northeastern University’s Experiential Quantum Advancement Laboratories (EQUAL), the Deputy Director of Northeastern University’s Quantum Materials and Sensing Institute (QMSI), and is involved in several quantum-related research, education and infrastructure initiatives at Northeastern.
