Robert Pluta is an associate teaching professor of mathematics at Northeastern University Oakland. He teaches various mathematics courses, from elementary topics to advanced pure mathematics and mathematical analysis. Dr. Pluta completed his PhD in Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin in 2012 under the supervision of Professor Richard Timoney. Professor Garth Dales was the principal examiner and referee for his doctoral thesis. Dr. Pluta’s background and research interests are in functional analysis, especially operator algebras, operator spaces, and ternary rings of operators.
