Dr. Boixeda Alvarez’s research interests are in representation theory and particularly geometric representation theory, the small quantum group and its relations to the geometry of affine Springer fibers. He joined the mathematics department at Northeastern University in 2024 and is the co-organizer of the GPRT seminar.
