Daria Healey is a Master’s Student in the Environmental Science and Policy Program at Northeastern University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Sociology from Boston College and previously served as a programming fellow for the non-profit organization Boston Harbor Now and an interpreter for the Franklin Park Zoo. While at Boston College, Daria also conducted research evaluating the extent to which the Franklin Park Zoo is meeting its education mission through an examination of human-nonhuman animal interactions. Her future research interests include social-ecological systems, environmental justice, and climate resilience.
