Camille Gómez-Laberge

  • Associate Teaching Professor

Department

Professor Gómez-Laberge specializes in undergraduate physics education and theoretical physics research. His innovative approaches to education are centered on the development of a Theoretical Physics Undergraduate Research Program (T-PURP) to prepare and expose students to research early-on in their studies. His research interests are in theoretical particle physics, specifically, in the search of fundamental rules governing all particle interactions called scattering amplitudes. He earned the B.Sc. / B.Eng. from Dalhousie University and the Ph.D. from Carleton University. He undertook postdoctoral research and lecturing positions at Harvard University before joining the Physics Department at Northeastern University.
